In 2026, the Adelaide Robotics and Computer Science Academy enters a new phase. We are introducing Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIR), a university-level program for high school students that combines advanced robotics with ROS 2, professional robotics infrastructure, and deep artificial intelligence projects. Supported by the BotBox Robotics Lab and our partnership with The Construct Robotics Institute, AIR prepares students not to replace tertiary education, but to arrive ready for it.

The Adelaide Robotics and Computer Science Academy has held its inaugural Scholarship Awards Ceremony at the Australian Space Discovery Centre, recognising 15 students with full and half-year STEM scholarships. Supported by Fleet Space Technologies, Defence SA, a private donor and ARCSA’s own Principal’s Excellence Scholarships, the program provides fee relief for families while celebrating students’ commitment and achievement in robotics, coding and AI.

At the 2025 LaunchBox Grand Finale, hosted by Fleet Space Technologies, four ARCSA teams ranked in the national Top 20 — with ARCSA3 finishing 8th out of 1,200 teams across Australia. Despite torrential rain, ARCSA3 became the only team in the country to successfully fly their satellite on the day, a powerful symbol of curiosity, resilience, and courage under pressure.

Launching Term 4, 2025 ARCSA’s Robotics with Python Course combines coding, robotics, drones, and AI in a one-year adventure for students aged 10–18.
