New Science Curriculum
We have great news! We will offer a new science curriculum for advanced students. If your child is not yet an advanced student, it will likely be in their third year of studying Robotics. The way it works is this: if they started this year, let’s say in 2019, they would become intermediate students from the following year (2020), and if they continue the course, they will become advanced students from the third year (2021). The following provides a brief overview of the Science Curriculum utilising Vernier sensors. Exciting times ahead!
- Introductory Project Robot Walker – Hand Dynamometer
- Data Display and Acidity Tester – pH Sensor and Gas Pressure Sensor
- Plant Waterer – Soil Moisture Sensor
- Audio Assistant – Dual-Range Force Sensor
- String Tension Tester – Dual-Range Force Sensor
- Aquarium Monitor – pH Sensor and Stainless Steel Temperature Probe
- Cartesian Diver – Gas Pressure Sensor
- Sunscreen Tester – UVB Sensor
- Battery Tester – Differential Voltage Probe
- Solar Tracker – Differential Voltage Probe
- Magnet Detector – Magnetic Field Sensor
- Compass – Magnetic Field Sensor
- Minesweeper – Magnetic Field Sensor
- Shell Game – Magnetic Field Sensor
